The hotel is conveniently located in Susanville, making it ideal for those traveling between Carson City, NV, and Redding, CA. The rooms were upgraded in advance, but only fine, not quite five-star quality. Although the place was clean, it was loud, and I could hear everyone around me all night. The service was somewhat lacking as they tended to act before checking, but the convenience of a downstairs park by the door was appreciated. The location is terrific with various shops nearby, but there were also issues like the dining closing early and being disappointing. The facilities were somewhat limited but functional.
